My windows freeze shut every night! The material around the door frame seems to be some kind of felt. It holds moisture and the window freezes to it. What can i put on the window so it wont stick? Very annoying, its froze everyday and takes the heater an hour to warm it up enough to open.

Rain X helps quite a lot.But put on the inside also.
When you apply it to the outside , run the window up and down a little while it's wet to get some on the seal .
My problem used to be door seals freezing .Fixed that by making friends with a copier service man who worked on Xerox machines.I put a little Xerox fuser oil on a cloth and wipe a thin film on the rubber seals.Lasts all winter.

Probably not the best in the long run, but I keep a small, thin plastic drywall spatula (sp?) in my glove box. When it freezes I slide it between the glass and the molding working my way from one side to the other, part way through, you can hear the molding "pop" off the glass - good to go now.

Just don't run your window all the way up in the crack. Maybe shave the felt down a bit so it doesn't hold as much water? Or get in channel vent visors that would reduce the felt area to half.
