With the CAI becoming increasingly popular as a mod for starters if you will, I thought I would make some vids of what one will expect to hear when they install one on there trucks. My truck is a 4banger so the v6 Rangers will sound different and every other vehicle for that matter.

The CAI didn't do much for me in the way of power but it did increase my mileage by 1.5MPG. Not much to write home about but at $3.05/gallon here, every little bit helps IMO.

sounds good from the interior... mines really quiet besides a whistle, but ill get a video of it tom and add it to here...

 

on my 2.3 I get that high pitch whine sound, I can tell it in 4th gear alot sounds sweet you can barley hear it outside the truck

 

3.0 v6 with mac and efan...
mines kinda quiet though, weither it be my interior or just the engine, but i had it to 4k in first and then 4k before i let off in 2nd....


and for you cleveland people, thats the old west entrance to the Richfield collisium in the very beginning of the vid...kinda sad....

 

CAI alone yeilds very little, paired with a good exhaust is where you'll see the qouted gains
