I haul my ATV and snowmobile often with my truck and with the 6 foot bed And close wheelwell humps it gets a little hairy sometimes with the wheel-wells. I would like to Mount a winch in the bed, has anyone done this or have any suggestions or ideas?

 

I don't think I have seen one on here but I have always wanted to do it. You could build a mount from the bed bolts and have it there.

 

Pretty much you don't have any strong surface to mount a winch to. Also the bed bolts are attached udnerneath the frame via these clips

and I wouldn't trust them too much to withstand a winch.

None the less, if you put a pallet in between your wheel wells then the bed is flat and much easier to get something in to the bed. That's how it works with my snowmachine and jet skis
