I have the K&N drop-in and I like it. I didnt really notice a difference. I really just bought it so I could stop buying paper replacement filters.

just the filter.

Honestly, not fram because i've heard nothing but bad things about their oil filters and as such i question their quality for the rest of the products

I'm the same way. Their oil filters suck. However their air filters are just fine.

motorcraft.

who would use a filter called "air hog?"
you want air to flow freely, not someting that sounds like it's going to rob your truck of air.

whats next from fram? an oil filter called "Lube sludge?"

Me too. I have never had a problem with their Air Filters, I will just never use the oil filters. BTW Thanks again for that link Goody, I've been running mine for a month now.

Just changed the oil on my sister's 2007 Liberty, uses the same 5w-20 oil and oil filter as my truck, so I took off the mopar crap and installed some MOTORCRAFT! I used FRAM for the Liberty's air filter, cheap, gets the job done, I wouldve liked to get ACDelco, but walmart didnt have it..

AFE makes an oil-free reusable drop in for our trucks. Kinda pricey though, probably run you around $50.

Just an OEM style? - Motorcraft, Wix, Purolator, Fram ...and I don't recall ever seeing a "bad" Fram air filter in the past 20 years.
