Those look tight! Do the vents just pop out? Forgive my ignorance, I've never messed with them before, but it looks like a fairly simple and cool mod to do. Can you post what kind of paint and sandpaper you used?

When i build my roll cage im going to run the tube through those top vents.

--the vents do just pop out, i use a screwdriver to get one side out and then just "pull" the rest

--I used 2000 grit sandpaper, just enough to scratch the surface but not enough to loose the texture that the vents have

--I did 2 coats of 94 cents a can primer from Wal-Mart, then 3 coats of DupliColor automotive paint that matched mine, then 3 coats of 94 cents a can Clear Coat from Wal-Mart

NICE! I'm gonna go hit Wal-Mart at lunch in a few minutes and check out the supplies. I have a dark grey interior, so, I'm not too sure of what color to do the vents, black might be subtle enough. I just don't want it to be too distracting.

i painted my flat black before color matching them and it looked like it was stock seeing as how everything else that wasnt grey was black, it looked good just to stock looking for me
