Bored last night.

So I started messing with gimp. Are you digging the black on blue?

Like she is.


Black stripe.



Then got a little crazy.

Last one with the hood painted like the second one. Don't paint the grill shell though.

I like the 2nd one with the little dip in the middle still blue

I did one like that too. It looked alright. But I think painting the grille shell really tied everything together.

I agree. It flows well


the 2nd one where the black is seperated with the bumper and so forth.

That's about the way I feel, not quite sure. My hood has battle scars and if I'm gonna get it painted I was thinking I might as well do something cool.

I used freehand select and then colorize to do the hood. I just used the paintbrush to do the lame bumper.

well i sorta figured it out but i cant get any good looking colors

Flat black would look great IMO, but since the grill sides are wider than the raised part of the hood I'd leave the whole grill blue.

Was that pic taken on the side of the New River? That view looks almost identical to the road I take up to my cabin.

Black with blue stripe looks good IMO. you need the bumper too.
