braking fog lights

on a 2002 ranger edge I keep breaking the lenses out of the fog lights It starts with a chip probably from rocks and spreads all the way around and then the glass falls out I replaced one and then the other did the same thing within the next year I was wondering if there are covers you can buy to put over them I have black covers over tail lights and am planning to get another set for the head lights and thought it would be neat to do the fog lights to but don't know where to look for them
thanks

do your fog lights have 9145 (stock wattage) bulbs or the 9005's?
I ask, because when i had the 9005's in my fogs, they too would get s chip in them, then the whole lens would break. after i went back to using 9145's, the lights never cracked or broke again. (i guess the heat breaks the glass)
unfortuately, there are no covers for these fog lights.
