Don't forget to lightly oil the gaskets in the AN fittings, or they will get distorted when you tighten them. Then your engine oil will spray all over the engine, instead of just dripping out the bottom. Don't ask how I know that

Sounds like a lot of work and expense, when quicky oil change places will do it for $20. Of course my oil filter hangs out the bottom, and is very easy to change.

dual filtration seems a little much, and its one more filter to have to buy and change. cooler-running oil would be nice, and i think the location of the filter, even though i can get it off, is still kinda awkward, so relocating it to somewhere more accessible would be cool!

The oil filter on the 3.0 4x4's is impossible to get to in stock form. I had to reach from above and bend my arm many different ways to get between the steering shaft and the exhaust manifold. Then when i did get it off the oil drained, purposely because of the funnel, all over my front differential. So a relocation would be a good mod if you have a 3.0 4x4 IMO.
