Icon12 Ranger radio

New to forum and new to owning an older 1996 Ford Ranger Super Cab STX 4x4. It's a nice
little truck and I'm sure my husband will like it. The radio it has I can't figure out...
mostly since we don't have a manual as yet, but it is coming.

Why does the radio, by the cassette player opening, have Tape/CD when there is
no CD.

Anybody?

And, what should we be on the look out for in a 1996 for trouble spots?

Thanks all!!

You can down load a PDF of the owners manual here.

Not sure on the CD/Tape unless it has built in CD changer controls. Some radios has this.

Ford uses the same buttons between the models, so your tape radio with no CD will have a "CD" button. Do you have the optional 6 disk CD player that is in the super cab?

No CD player - it's just odd having these controls that don't control anything.
Thanks for the link!
