I LOVE mine, i got it used from 05rangerXLT and its still working great. I don't know how long hes had it tho. I have it plugged in to my trailer lights with the reverse light hardwired, but you can hardwire it into your taillights if you want. I think Wayne sells 2 versions, one for stepside and one for flareside.

Not exactly true:

The only difference in function is the turn sinals are not centered. The left blinker will go about 2" past the center and the right turn signal will be about 2" short of center.
On the longevity, I do get some claims and I do see the occasional strip on the street that is half burned or a 4" section is not working. I can only say that everyone that has bought from that link has had the problem taken care of.

So you mount this and then what happens to the hole to remove your spare tire? Also, do you really want the blinkers to be off center by 2"?
Maybe it's just me, but I would rather have something that is centered. You can buy a couple of LED light strips that will do the same thing. No worries about how to get to your spare tire and it will be centered on the back of the truck. It may be a little more work to hook it up but in my opinion, it will look better and will be more functional.

Another option- you can cut a vee shaped notch out of the bar without interfering with its operation. Like this:
________________________
[__________/\______________]
It will be secured at two points on each side of the vee.
Third option is remove 4 small screws to move the light bar out of the way. The mounts attach with double tape, but the bar is attached to the mounts with the small screws. It'll add 2 minutes to a tire change.
