Yep can't wait for the snow. And that 55 degrees was pretty damn nice working weather.

I also have a 2WD and using the rear hitch I had helped around 20 people since I bought this truck. From little sedans stucked to helping a broken down Ram 1500 to pull over from center lanes.

You definitively should try this. !

I actually love all trucks, Ford, Chevy, Dodge or whatever. I've never understood those guys that act like their vehicle brand is a religion... However, In my worldly experience, there is an unexplainable large population of ******** behind the wheel of Dodge trucks. In fact, the only time I've ever came to blows with another driver was when I was working for the state, and a rusty-***, two-tone Ram (that awful green and silver) almost rear ended me.... Long story short, he acted like it was my fault, proceeded to follow me five mile to my job site, at which point he jumped out and started screaming profanities at me as we squared off. After some chest bumping and manly posturing, he saw how many people I had to back me up, and drove off. SO when I think of Dodge, I think of this guy. And those countless other frat-boy, redneck wannabes with the stacks in the back, and the cool-dude bro stickers and accessories that they plaster their trucks with. WTF lol.

Not trying to steal your thunder dude, just thought I'd share my experience. Glad you could help that guy out, show him a thing or two, and make money all at the same time!

Ya right! Nice - I guess the hitch is rated high enough to pull a car.. I forget though, is it 3000 or 5000 lbs?
I'm away at camp right now and can't check for myself...

I've only ever pulled two vehicles out from being stuck in my life, both times with my 2.3 Ranger..

The first time, My wife driving an 04 Dodge Neon, (having never driven in the snow and ice before) decided to accelerate hard around a curve in our driveway going up hill and ended up skidding down a hill and into our neighbors yard. That was in Tennessee, The second, We were in her hometown in South East Louisiana and a v8 Chevy Silverado got stuck in a ditch that was about 4 feet deep. I was actually just pulling out on my way to Texas and had a great night thinking about that the whole time.

As far as Dodge Rams and ******** go.. Every brand has their ******* drivers. Dodge Rams have the best look as far as trucks go so maybe that gets all the "wannabe tough guys" to buy them, I dunno, I prefer Ford trucks, However.. Here in Houston, TX, Dodge Rams are cheaper than F150's and you can get a newer Ram for the same price as a late 90's-early 2000's F150.

I wish you could see my town. I know that there are ******** behind every vehicle brand out there, but near me its like a freaking plague with the Dodge owners. Have you seen my previous thread on this topic?

https://www.ranger-forums.com/off-topic-19/squealing-diesel-wtf-128944/

If I had the time and gas to burn, I could spend all day driving up and down the shoreline, taking pictures of these dudes and their wannabe tough guy trucks. Its enough to scar someone for life. I mean do they really need the attention THAT bad?? lol

and I did not know that Hostess was bankrupt, that is a sad thing indeed. No more twinkies
