gears

when i bought my ranger i didn't know to much about the little things so i'm curious my truck just has the 3.73 gears how hard would it be to swap to the 4.10 or 4.88 would it be easy or do i have to swap the whole tranny, and does anyone know a ball park price on what that might cost. i'm only asking cause i'mnot sure if my 3.73 would like 33" inch tires or even 35" inch tires.

if its 4x4 then you'll need to change out the front and rear rack and pinion.
I'm not really sure of the price range. But I know I found a rear set for somewhere around 100. Not sure about the front though.

you do not need to swap your tranny...for a shop to set it up with your stock carriers (you may want to swap to a L/S in the rear at this time) you will be looking about $1200 is say depending on where you go...if you are 2wd obviously it wont be this expensive

if i was you and switching to 33's or 35's, i'd def upgrade to 4:10 for 33's and 4:88 for the 35's.
