how hard? Will it fit?

how hard is it to install the Roush signal mirrors? will they fit my '97 Ranger with power mirrors?

They are not hard to install at all, you talking about the Thunderbolt mirrors? Just have to route the wire through the boot in the door, remove the door panel and mirror to install the new one and wire it up. I would think they would fit on your mirror as they are any different than the newer gens, could be wrong.

cool.....does the wire just tap into the signal wire?

boy, I've heard that question plenty of times! lol

I would imagine they would bolt right in, simple half hour job.

The Thunderbolt mirrors are just the glass inserts and are made for 2002+ power mirrors. Even though they look the same externally, the earlier power mirrors have a completely different motor and platform arrangement. The 2002+ inserts will not fit the 2001-back mirrors.

so i would have to get new mirrors also..........hummmmmmm......i may just go get the '06 mirrors.....

I thought the 93-97 mirrors have a different mounting size than 98-06

nope.......my buddy at the local Ford dealership said that the door skin is the same from '93-'06.....the mounting is the same.....
