You're 18 years old bro. I'm only seven years older but I drive for a living. I see some dumby with uber co0l HIDs and in the stock halogen case, I can't see for five seconds afterwards. One comes by and you'll hear the truckers b1tch for miles b/c it's 3am, they've been driving 10-14 hours, and have just been blinded.
80k lbs comin at ya, in my experience.

Here's a tip man, don't look at the god damn light if you have problems seeing after they pass, it's that simple... If you drive for a living you should know that. I've got 2 sets of these in my truck. Both aimed right with REFLECTOR housings. I get flashed by passenger cars maybe once a month, sometimes once every other month or so and it's not because they're too bright.... It's because Im lifted.
Please, drive to my area and try and run me off the road at night... I'll pay you. There's a reason I carry a bat in my truck and it's for people like you thinking you own the ****. HIDs arent illegal, so f'in deal with it.

You think age has anything to do with it?

I'll rock HIDs all day everyday... People like you are the ones I drive behind with my PIAA's on down a dark *** country road... Just think you're so badass... It's the internet, so get over it.

I don't know about these HID "conversions". I mean yeah, they produce great lighting, which means safer for you. But.... the pic of the ranger hurts my eyes at first glance, and this is on my computer screen that runs dark. So i bet if you leave them on, and walk all around the front of the truck, 20-30 feet away and keep your eyes you'll find a spot that makes you squint an awful lot. Now picture someone in that spot, in a car, coming at you.
Thats why i won't run these, i will upgrade to silverstars, but if i need more light, i have my Daylighters for those special and rare times

I did the same thing when i was immature and didnt care for others safety. You'll get past that stage one day, hopefully.

Think what you want man... Im safer on the road because of my HIDs... Both for me and for others, who can clearly see me coming. My **** doesn't blind you at all, it's aimed right and I never have problems. You've had too many bad HID experience I see.

You are the one that i will completely lock up my brakes in the middle of the road and wait on you to rear end me, and then not hesitate one bit to let you know im packin.

Yah, he just needs to go back to a Taco forum and get off here... This site is for people with rangers or similar trucks/suv... Taco's aren't anything like a ranger. So go back to your people dude... No one on here care about your taco..
They all turn out like that because people voice their opinion on what they think is the right thing, what they think is legal, etc... If you don't like HIDs, get off the god damn road. They're just head lights. Get over it.
Back to your HID thread...

Thats not the kind of attitude this site has towards other vehicles. I happen to like his truck and think he and anyone else with ANY kind of vehicle is welcome here. I am with you on the HID's though I like em!

i caint read the whole post so if someone already mentioned this im sorry.. but the adjustment is way off on the evo at least. with the door open on the ranger its harder to tell, but the blue line shouldn't be above knee heigth at that distance. at that distance id say the blue line should be bearly on the garage door not almost to the top. and it looks as if the ranger is close to the same adjustment at the evo judging by the light on the inside of the garage.. if they were adjusted properly there wouldnt be any problem with people complaining about how bright they are.
