New Ford Ranger FX Level II with Pioneer Sound System

Hello,

I went to my Ford Dealership yesterday and sadly, they did not have the exact Ford Ranger I wanted so they will need to get it build.

I have choosen the Ford Ranger Level II - Blue (with gray at the bottom and flare). I've also added the Pioneer Sound System (Small Bass with 6 speakers)

Has anyone ever seen how good the sound is with that system ? I don't need something very loud, but I just wanted something a little better then average.

What do you guys think of my new Truck ? It will be to replace my Ford Ranger Edge 2002.

Regards,
Peter B.

it sounds really good Sara my friend has it in her FX4..... but there is a down side. if you ever want to install after market radio and speakers or sub you have to completely gut all the pioneer stuff with all the amps in the truck...

Also, it says that you if you install the Pioneer sound system, you might loose cup holders, or a few things there... Anyone ever saw them installed ? Do you loose something ?

Can't wait to receive it!!!

idk about that console, it looks kind of cheap looking, id go without the pioneer system and than just put on in of your own likings, plus they are going to charge you a ton from the factory....

Thanks,

The Ford Dealership just called me. He confirmed to me that he ordered 2 of them. One with the Pioneer and one without. I will then have the choice when he will receive both of them. It's nice of them to order 2 truck so I can choose one.

Im getting the Ford Ranger FX Level II SuperCab 2007 Blue with gray on it...

CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF MY 2002..

It's a Ford Ranger Edge 2002 4X4 SuperCab with 100 000KM. The dealer gave me 10300$ for it..

Now I have to wait about 4-8 weeks :'(

What do you guys think of the Limited Slip Rear Axle... I always had a full locked Axle... I tought that Slip wasn't really good ?....

Thanks!!!!

for street driving limited slip is better than a full on locker in my opinion...........

DANG! they gave you $10,000 for your Ranger? is that American dollars or Canadian?

Guys,

They gave me 12000 CND$.... So 10300$ USD... This is the main reason I decided to purchase the 2007...

I also got 0% financing for 60 months and about 5000$ rebates (ford rebates, and some other crap)....

He told me Winter is a hard month for them and this is the reason he gave me a good price for the truck!!!

I can't wait to receive it tho!!!!!!

DANG!!!!! wonder how far it is for me to drive up there! lol.......

that is a good price....and with 0% APR and $5000 in rebates you will be paying like $10,000 for a NEW TRUCK! holy cow!

what do you owe on your current truck?

with 0% APR, i wouldn't pay anymore than the minimum and i would never get rid of it!

I still owe about 5000$ on the 2002... So I still get 7000$ for down payment... and all the rebates he gave me also lowered the price...

I can't wait to get that fully equiped LEVEL II Ranger..

Anyone knows why the Level II comes with 15'' wheels instead of 16''...

Even if it's 15'', the tires are about the same size in height..

Peter.

they come with a 15" wheel because no company in the world makes a 31x10.50x16 tire....and a 15" wheel is more common in offroad world........

i wouldn't complain about the 15" wheel, tires are cheaper for a 15" than a 16"....

Let us know how the Pioneer system is when you try it.
I prefer MP3 stereos. You can take your CDs and burn them to cheap CD-Rs and leave them in the truck. If someone breaks in all they get are the cheap copies and can record new ones. I record at a low rate cause trucks make road noise and I don't hear the good sounds anyway.(20 years of running air machines) I have 19 albums on one CD-R of MP3s.
The Pioneer can plya CD-Rs burned 1-1 right?

Great deal and good luck.

Victory, I will let you know for sure,

The pioneer system support 6 CD's. It's also an MP3 Player. So like you are saying, I will be able to burn MP3 to the CD. It also comes with an input jack so I can plug an iPod.. It's a fully equiped system.

What I like about it, is everything looks stock. The pioneer player that will come with the ranger looks almost like a standard stock Ford CD Player.

Also, the bass is located in the center console, so nobody sees the subwoofer and amp..

Pete

15" wheels also give you more sidewall on the tires... it will give you a smoother/softer ride. The taller sidewall also gives you a lower chance of hitting your pretty rims on rocks, curbs, etc. when you are off-roading or driving. The Alcoa wheels are definitely better than the 16" teardrop wheels or any of the other ones. You will love them!

Thats why i was going to get a new f150....they wanted to give me 10,300 for my 03 with 64k miles.....minus the end of the years sales, minus other discounts, i could get a brand new 06 f150 FX4 supercrew for like 20k
