new truck

i have a couple of questions..i just bought the 2" lowering kit and a CAI from hillbank on ebay, but my parents are now kinda iffy because they think these things will void the warranty. what kind of stuff can/can't i do under a factory warranty? and also, i took my 06 emblems off my totalled truck and i want to reuse them. the sticky stuff is ruined what can i use to re-stick them and where can i get it?

thanks

Look under the Moss-Magnusen act i think it's called for the warranty stuff, theres been a few discussions on that a while ago on here.

For the emblems, 3m double sided tape?

It looks good! Congrats on the new ride! Don't put a chip in under the warrenty... it almost cost me mine... I had a friend who worked at a Ford dealership that helped me out. I don't know if dropping it wil mess up the warrenty or not but if you can't find answers here just call your local dealsrship.

When I lowered my truck last March, my actual warranty of my truck wasnt up ntil May. I started having slipping with the clutch and so I called to get it fixed. When I told them I lowered my truck, I was told that the lowering voided drive train and suspension. That was from Grand Prairie Ford here in Dallas.

Nice lookin truck better luck with this one, and that bed style is not made anymore so it's kinda rareish, and use a hairdryer or heat gun and take off that dealer decal on your tailgate
