Noticing all your front brush gaurds

Hey guys. So I was looking at getting a brush gaurd for the front of my truck, I live out in a small down and the possibility of hitting an animal is pretty high. I noticed a lot of you just have ones made out of round metal, did you guys make those your selves? I really like them a lot more then the big crome ones they sell. Anyone make them for members I live in Wisconsin and would be willing to travel a bit. Thanks.

Are you talking about the kind that replaces the whole bumper? Or the kind that bolt to the bumper?

Brush Guards are called damage multipliers by some. This is because if you hit something on any part of the front end the whole brush guard will fold back and damage the whole front end. Brush guards are just that, they are meant to push away branches and shrubs. They are not intended to protect the front end from impact.

Just thought I'd let you know.

K I understand what your saying CBFranger, but when hitting a deer going about 40 its going to do damage either way, you make a good point though. I like the ones that you actually take the bumper off of. I was looking at the ones that bolt up I really do not like how they make the truck look. I was looking for them on google and couldnt find any making me think most of the guys on here make their own.
