Regarding Leaf-Springs

I need some education. What are some signs I need to change leaf springs? If applicable, how can I tell?

The rubber bump stops are wearing faster than your tires.

I replaced mine with some from JC Whitney. They bolted in easily with bushings already installed. I think they have a heavier spring load capacity, but I'm
not too sure on that. Would have to do some checking.

Here's the link with the springs for your truck. It's a 98 right?
