Radio from F150 to Ranger

A buddy of mine has a Radio with a CD player. Just wondering, does anyone know if a radio out of a 06 F150 will fit a 95 ranger? I believe I read somewhere the wiring is different. Do they make plugs that would interchange if they do fit? Thanks.

i believe the ones from the f150 are bigger then the ranger headunits and i know the way they mount is different, it wouldpry take some moding to make it work.

The 06 F150 radio uses a different style harness connector from your 95 Ranger. It could be adapted but it is not plug and play.

Thanks for the response. I believe you are correct. The 150 radio is about 1/2 inch or so wider and taller. Thanks.
