scan gauge 2?

Hey, Im wondering about the scan gauge 2 for my truck, and i was wondering what do these little devices do? will they correct my speedo?(i have 32's) how about gas milage? thanks for helpin a newb out with the questions.

They won't correct your speedometer on the dash, but you can see the correct speed on the SG2. They can help your mileage by showing the current/average mileage and you can see how changing your driving style can sometimes drastically change your gas mileage!

You can read codes with them too if you have a check engine light. It'll show you coolant temp, intake air temp, etc...

ok looks like i might get one, my birthdays in a week and i'll have to ask my parents for one. and i also read about a ultra gauge? whats the differences?

I haven't had experience with the ultra gauge but love my scan gauge. One of the best investments I have gotten for the ranger and really any vehicle. Its great to see what kind of mileage you are getting and also to check codes on vehicles. If you feel like turning the check engine light off, you can do that.

I think the Ultra Gauge does the same thing... just looks a little nicer!

ok well i think im going to go with the ultra gauge, i like the display screen more and the mounting options and thanks fullscale and robert99ranger

Not only does the Ultra Gauge look better, it's cheaper and does the same thing.
