Some updates.
Well last friday i drove and picked up AVM hubs.
it snowed about 5 inches already today and were suppose to get up to about 20 untill christmas is over.
so tonight my dad and i put them on, really simple to do. don't mind my ugly a$$ rims by the way! so nasty.
then i also put in my silverstar bulbs.
way whiter than stock and brighter also.
you can see how much its snowing in the picture.
sorry cell phone pic.
i had to test out my 4wd again with my crappy wrangler rt/s ha
went bombing in some fresh powder, was about 8 inches high, then went though a spot where it was just about 1/2 way up my door i slowed way down but made it through ha.
super excited for new rims/tires in the spring.
i also have new tails i gotta mod and install.

not to put a damper on you, but I had silverstars in my headlights and unless your on a dark, dry highway, they really suck in fact, when it would rain at night, i would sometimes check the headlight switch to see if i had the lights on, they were that bad.
maybe it's just me, but when i switched to philips Xtreme power bulbs, which DO NOT have a "bluish coating" over the bulb capsule, i could see the road with them a lot better.

Having the same problem with my silverstar bulbs...not looking forward to the 40mph blowing "Blizzard like conditions" heavy snow that's coming today. Getting home from work tonight should be exciting.

I can't remember where I read it, but I heard that the Orsam (the company that owns/merged with Sylvania) branded Silverstars do not have the blue tinting, while the Sylvania branded ones do.

So much for lights; how did the hub install go ?
The rims, if you want them, can be sand blasted and polished or black teflon sprayed on, either way could be a nice set of wheels.
OR for the price it may be cheaper to buy new, check it out first.
