Towing a rv

I have a 2011 Ford ranger sport 4x2 4.0 6cyl 5 speed. Can I tow a camper weighing in at 3150 lbs plz help me.

2011 Manual trans 4.0l supercab is rated at 3,200/3,300 so yes.

Your trailer hitch also needs rating upto and above this weight.

Depending on the place you live, local laws may require electric Trailer brakes, they are a good idea anyway, but it may be mandatory.
This requires a trailer brake control in the cab and wiring to the connection at the trailer hitch.

Ranger only weights 3,300lbs so a 3,000lbs trailer will push it around unless you have some braking control
