So im sitting here bored and found the overlay from my hvac in my truck, the piece that comes out. And wondering if I should try sanding it down and painting it? Or should I just take out the main piece which isin the truck and paint that as i've seen some ppl have done also.

Im going to use some testors enamel paint I have here, it say's its good for glass and plastics etc.
