I was going to switch my HVAC lights to LEDs, after taking it apart I noticed that the ***** have green in the line that points to what it is set on. Does anyone know how to get the green out of the ****?

 

I actually jus did this 20 mins ago. Hold the **** in ur hand and you need to use a screw driver or a key as i did and press down on the little recessed white piece. Once it pops out take wet sand paper and sand off the white top that has the green underneath it. i then covered the small plastic piece with red vinyl but if your modding the unit to leds you could keep the switch with a clear piece and whatever light you choice will shine through. Hope this helps
