Yes. It varies by state. In NH it costs $25/yr for these 'vanity' plates. $55/yr if it's a vanity version of our 'Moose' conservation plate. I was thinking of doing it this year, but didn't. The trick here is you have to order the new plates when you renew your registration.. I've been told that NH is one of the cheaper states to get such plates in. Everyone around here seems to have them!

Mine is off right now. When I put the waag bar on it pissed me off working around it. So I ripped it off and drilled the rivets.
It was half falling off anyway. The plastic was ripped over one of the rivets.

PA is one plate. I removed my front plate holder.

 

i'm in tx and i only go with the rear platye but i agree u get stoped by a trooper. and man they give u a good lesson on how to obey the law
