spent the day trying to swap out my rear springs, the spring hangers were new about 4 years ago so i figured getting the old springs off the truck would be the easy part, guess not, had to torch 3 of them. now i have everything ready to go but no bolts to go through bushings/hangers. they are a weird size, 9/16 x 4-1/2. found a set of 4 from a suspention place in pa for $6.00, locally a fastenter store wants $3.00 per bolt (and no nut or washer either, the "kit" from stengal bros includes a nut & washer) going to check a few other local spots, but will probly order from pa. thats where my hangers & bushings came from 4 years ago. my old springs had defintly lost alot of arch. got springs from a '97 truck for $40 per side, bushings i got locally. im surprized i only got 1 bolt out intact, i anti-seized everything when i put it together 4 years ago, rear shackles were even seized tight, got that loosened. i do still have some frame twist, couldnt put the lift block under the spring pack on left side because it was still 2-1/2" higher at the wheelwell than the other side, i was hoping new spring were the answer, glad i didnt buy brand-new sets, they were anywhere from 90-140 bucks per side where i checked

Cleaned my dad's fishing stuff out of the back seats (last time used: about 4 months ago) and wiped bird crap off the inside of the driver side doors that my dad claimed happened while I was driving. You think I would notice something like that, considering some even landed on the headrest.

Oh, they do. And this was a mess too, down the inside of both F/R driver side doors, on the back window, back wall, jump seat had a bit, driver seat caught some too. This bird won the contest that day.
