When you can put an axle from a 2009 Ford Ranger in your 1993 Ranger. Without modification.

You know you drive a Ranger when you can fit into parking spaces where are supposed to be only for cars but you can tow, haul, jump, cross rivers, drive into mud, crawl into rocks like no car would do!

You know you drive a Ranger when you go offroading in the snow, accidentally drive onto a frozen lake covered by a foot of snow, fall through the ice, and sink your truck half way... and still get out by yourself.

I wouldn't go calling that guy a dumbass, Zach. Not seeing ice under some snow isn't really a question of intelligence. Plus, he still got the truck out.
