My trucks getting its first mod

Well I finally got part of my Graduation present, a car alarm, I went with the python 881 with all the bells and whisles, to bad it has to be installed by a certified place in order for the warrenty to work. Cause I have lots of good ideas that would make a theif wished he picked another car. And I get to spend 7 hrs and nebraska furniture mart. Ill give yall my opinion of the alarm after its installed and I can play with it.

i was gonna say if you can get the 125 db pezo alarm put inside, that will make them think twice about stepping foot in your truck when they break in, and also a battery backup, it will keep going even thou if they cut your battery cable

What kind of ideas? I had a friend who rigged up mace in his truck triggered by the alarm.

Him and a female passenger were the only ones ended up getting sprayed. The relationship did not last, lol.

I don't recommend any physical, chemical, or electrical deterrents in car alarms -- none of them are reliable enough to control that sort of thing.

Leave some bread in the car and it will make toast while you're gone?

Whoops sorry guys I forgot all about this post, The alarm rocks, Warrenty is great lifetime on the unit and lifetime on the install, If you ever need a alarm installed and live in the KC metro area Defiantly go to Nebraska furniture mart. The alarm is nice has remote start which I thought I'd never use but actually is really handy to. The remote is what sold me on the unit because it has responder technology it pages me and lets me know exactly whats going on with my truck via a lcd screen. Some things I'd like to add to the unit through python is a auto windows up feature which automatically rolls my windows up when I alarm the system and a additional siren placed inside called a piezo pain siren. One problem that arose after install was the alarm kept going off and saying it was triggered by the door opening, Apparintly our computer sends out a pulse every so often to check things and keep from wasting battery and the pulse was setting it off, but diodes solved that problem. So far I love the alarm and if I ever do have a problem with it lifetime warrenty.

The model number to those interested is is 881xp.
