Airbag Sensor on Radiator

Airbag Sensor on Radiator
So during the body lift install it seems like we broke the airbag sensor on the pass. side mount for the radiator. I have the p/n and the service guy at Ford says if I installed the BL then I should be able to fix this too. Of course it's not under warranty but I'm just wondering if anyone can shed a little more light on this. I know where the mount is and all that but I don't remember seeing a sensor or where one would be. Has anyone done this and know what's involved? Also I have a Chilton that covers my old Ranger (1999) so would this be in there and would it be valid on the 2008?? Thanks!!

I don't know if it's new or not but I did a search and there are 2 old threads that reference it but don't really tell me much except that the sensor is mounted to the radiator mount not the radiator itself. It seems to me like it's at a spot that the bumper needs to be significantly crushed to set it off?? It's real... I know that... Justin says it's easy to do but until I have a chance to glance at some other Rangers just looking to see if anyone has experience/more info....

Well I believe we broke it in the BL process... typically I don't think it'd be an issue w/ a BL but the side that's broken happens to be the side we had issues with the radiator mount on. The truck is at Ford right now but I'm hoping one of my salesmen come into work today (they both drive Rangers) so I can get a look at what we're talking about here.
