96 swap newer radiator or bigger radiator

96 swap newer radiator or bigger radiator
U have a radiator from a 99 4.0 and a 02 four banger? would either work ok on my 96?

I don't remember if they're the same size or not. I would hesitate using a 4cyl rad on a 6cyl motor.
If i remember right, some 4.0 OHV had 4 core rads, which is the best that your going to get.

i wanted to use the 99 4.0 ohv on my 96 four banger, i looked at the 02 four banger radiator had different mounting points, wondering if the 96 and 99 should bolt right in and if the fan was the same size.

I cant say forsure its a direct swap, but its possible i figure.
Fans won't be the same size however, that i'm pretty sure of.

yeah i figured the fan would b bigger on the 4.0

If its any help I have a 4.0 rad in my 2.3, all I needed to do was do custom hose routing, but it dropped right in.
