battery light on under 2,000 rpm
for the last two weeks ive noticed my battery light will randomly flicker (not flash just like it wants to turn on then changes its mind) and then go away. it used to do it only rarely, but now its doing it every time i am driving for more then 20 min. yesterday it started staying on solid, but only when it was sitting at under 2,000 rpm, i could rev it up, and it'd go away. now i only have 65,000 km on my truck (just over 40,000 miles) and i have had to replace the alternator before because the bearings were going on it, so im wondering if that could have drained my battery and not charged it properly. but i dont get why its only below 2,000 rpm.
also as far as running extra stuff, i had an amp and sub in for a couple months but got rid of those long ago, i have 6 fogs wired up, but rarely use them other then that, no extras.
is it just my battery messed from the old alternator, or could there be more problems?

My battery light would come on under hard acceleration, seemed to it only in the colder winter months. It was a "come and go" thing but left no indication of power drain, bad battery, or bad alternator. It did it to me since day 1 when I got it used in 2003. I just replaced the battery last November and it turned out it was the original battery from the factory. Had the date on it from 2000 when it was made. Good luck trying to get 9 years out of a good battery these days.
