I have an '01 automatic ranger and i need to know what this gold piece is called and how much it would be for a new one. Can anyone help me out?

Its just where the brake lines come together for the rear brakes. Whats wrong with yours?

rear brake distribution block/line(aka Flex line)... its like $15 at an auto store..

proportion valve on rangers is up on the frame closer to the front...

That what I thought wasnt sure so I put the "or" in there just to be on the safe side

Did you get it ?

Any auto parts store should have it, the block is part of the hose assembly.
Always buy new when it comes to your brakes...
