Sunrood out of Sport Trac?

Hey everyone, we had an Explorer Sport Trac come in today. I was the one who drove it in and noticed that it had a very nice sunroof and the overhead console as well.

How hard or is it even possible to 'cut' that sunroof out and swap it into the Ranger?

would be easier to do a popout sunrooff

the sport trac's goes Inside the roof skin, meaning you have to have room for it

This was discussed a while back. There are alot of structural support bar running across the roof and to put in a sunroof you would have to cut those.

Ouch!

Anyone know of a good company that sells those "pop-outs" or anything of that nature?

i wouldnt do it, like said before aftermarket ones never seal right. we had one in a cadillac seville and it always had wind noise. and in our rangers you would have to go back in and weld in roof supports and damn near a halo on the roof.
