Well, im an idiot! its in the damn owners manual. lol
Anyway, not really too sure what the hell I did to blow the fuse. Long story: i have HID headlights, they are single beam meaning that they are not high beam. You select high beam and the damn things turn off. I am in the process of wiring up a "custom" harness to keep the high beams on at all times so I can run my off road lights using the high beam power as the switch to thier own separate relay/harness/fuse etc.
While working on this, i figured the parking lights are always on when the headlights are on, so i spliced into that and ran it to the power wire on the HID harness. That worked in keeping the headlights on while both high and low beams were selected.
Now, what blew the fuse is still a mystery. It blew when I wired in the aux lights as described above. Im still working this glitch out... Its wierd cause it doesnt blow the fuse all the time, only the first time I had it all wired up and hit high beams to turn on the aux lights. This bothers me, so Ill have to do some more playing with it as I am not comfortable with that fuse blowing even though it only happened once.
Confused yet? lol i sure as hell am, Im about to run a switch in the cab and forget the whole idea.
