putting ATV's on you bed....

ok so i have a outlander 800 bike i just bought. i was wondering if the bike can fit on a straight bed ranger. measuring from outer most of the tire to tire is about 54 inches. and if you pics of bikes on your bed just post them up. to see if its worth buying a ranger

we got my buddies KFX 400 in my bed and he had +2/+1(2" wider, 1" forward) A-arms and 3" wider axle and it fit, only snag was the back lip that the tailgate butts up to, jsut had to lift it up over that.

Its been covered plenty of times. It seems to depend on the size of your bike. I can fit my kawasaki 360 in mine.

Bike=bicycle or motorcycle.

Sorry Mr. Perfectionist. Have you never heard a 4wheeler or a snowmobile or anything else of the nature referred to as a bike? I'm pretty sure the point was made and your just trying to be an a**

edit: do a search on the word "bike" and look at how many threads come up that are covering 4wheelers

itll fit. it wont be so easy the first time tho. Be prepared to lock it in 4 wheel drive if you have to go get over your wheel humps in the bed. Your atv rims will probly either dent/scratch up by puttin big nasty back in the tiny bed, but it'll fit like a charm afterwards.

This is coming from experience. My 700 fits and my dad's 800 fits in the back of my Ranger with the tailgate down.

My 2001 Polaris Magnum didn't fit in the back of my ranger with the tailgate closed. Also one wheel had to drive over a wheel well. It really is 1000x easier to use a trailer.
