Auxilliary Fuse Panel

I added this Hella 6-circuit auxialliary fuse box to the Heap today. I was sick of the 5 in-line fuse holders that I had in there for the 2 sets of driving lights, the dual horns, the back-up lights and the CounterAct unit. They were wired nicely, but nothing was really marked or easily accessable if I had an issue. I cut all of the fuse holders out and ran the wires up to the fuse box in all new looms with color codes (zip ties) to mark and separate all of the circuits. Ran new power wires back to the positive battery terminal and loomed those. I fabbed-up a mounting plate out of flat stock, and attached everything to the ABS module with plastic HD velcro. It's definitely a neater and better looking install, plus I have one circuit left if needed.

That makes me want to reorganize my hack wiring job from last year. But every time I go out and look at it I get scared and run away lol.

Fuse box was $10.99 from Summit--they also have 8 & 10 circuit versions available. Most of the rest of the stuff I had in my electrical tool box, but I probably have another 10 bucks in wire, connectors and loom. Oh--plus $4.29 for the plastic velcro from Staples.

Everything on your truck is always so neat and tidy... it all looks like it was meant to be there from the factory.
