wire harness question

wire harness question
I have a '07 Ranger
I want to get a tail light wiring harness (from the rear of the frame out to the tail lights) and was wondering if anyone knew what years I could get that would just plug into the truck side pigtail. Thinking of going to the you-pull yard for one.
I know the wiring changed a lot in 06 or 07 but did the rear connector to the tail light harness change?
Thanks

How do I explain????
existing truck plug from front of truck -- JY plug -- loose wiring to splice into -- Jy plug -- existing plug to tail lights
The parts store sells trailer adapter plugs. All you do is unplug the main harness from the tail light harness. Plug in the adapter and your ready to plug your trailer in. I am wanting to make this adapter.

So are you using this to get the 4-pin trailer adapter? Just out of curiosity why don't you just use quick-taps into the wire? Like this:

Checking the wiring diagram would be great. Thank you.
If I just knew where the main plug for the tail lights were would be great.
One T-Adapter noted it plugged in at the middle of the truck.
Also FYI. I have the trailer tow package and have a 4-way on the truck already. The trailer 4-way has it's own fuses and is completely separate from the truck tail lights. I am hooking up a light bar (under tail gate) and if I can find or make a T-adapter to wire them off the truck tails and reverse would be great.
I am finding T-adapters online up to 2003.
I found a Valley 30027. One site said it's for 04-10.

Something doesn't add up.
