Wheel Speed Sensor cross compatible?

Wheel Speed Sensor cross compatible?
This might be a really stupid question, but here's my problem:
In order to replace the wheel speed sensor on my 99 silverado it's more cost efficient to replace the whole hub, wheel bearing, and sensor in one go. (All comes in one package).
My truck has had a problem with it's passenger side wheel speed sensor which screws into the hub.
I've also just had a wheel bearing go bad on my driverside which I'll be replacing tomorrow (the whole hub). I'm wondering if I can take the old wheel speed sensor out of my old hub that I'll be replacing tomorrow and put it onto my passenger side to kill two birds with one stone.
If not I'll just have to replace both, as it stands right now I just drive without ABS because of Chevrolet's ignorance towards the problem years ago.
THis is for a silverado by the way (1999) but I figured it'd just be general mechanical knowlegde that could answer my question!
Thanks!
