it was like ours, but the space between the HU, and hvac controls was much bigger... the top of the hu was in the same spot, just the lower half was all fiberglassed in or something... looked wicked!

Just make it yourself. Cut a piece of plastic to the same basic dimension that you want to fill in. Epoxy it in place just below the line of the bezel. Mix up some bondo and fill it in. Once dry sand until it looks stock.

that sounds like a LOT of work... and i'm a perfectionist... i don't think i would be happy with it, regardless of how long i worked on it...

although, i might give it a try, if i have no other options... depends on how much it will cost me to get one at a jy

You'll also have to sand all the stock rubber coating off the bezel. I personally would do that and then use filler over the entire thing to get it totally smooth and paint it. Its a lot of work, but it also looks sweet. I personally would just save and get a double din though

honestly, i don't like the look of the double din HU's... and i want somewhere to mount my switches, which will look a little better than a piece of flat plastic on the lower portion of my adapter
