Explorer Door Panels...

Ok so has anyone swapped ranger door panels with an explorers? I'd kinda like to find out cause i'd like them lil map pockets at the bottom of my door. I know some rangers got them but they are more explorers with em out there. so yea lemme know please.

I'm assuming you have the base model door panels w/o the map pockets? I believe *some* of the earlier pre-95 model explorer panels fit. It would be MUCH easier just to get some XLT door panels, they look nicer and have the map pocket at the bottom

does your truck have power windows? if it doesn't, it might hinder shopping around for anything from an XLT door.

Not really, the XLT panels come in crank down form as well, thats what my truck came with..

really? i didn't realize the XLT's were still available with manual windows that recently. i stand corrected.

yeah, a buddy of mine has an '03 XLT that has crank downs with the nicer XLT panels, it sure looks better than the base model panels!

in that case, he shouldn't have a problem at all. i would just call around to a few local junk-yards, www.car-part.com is a great tool also. good luck matt

In my experiance, it't hard to buy door panels because the jy's want to sell the whole door and won't seperate them.

explorer door panels dont fit


however you can get an XLT door panel with manual window cranks, thats what i have in my 01
