Gauge pod

Ok, I just bought STL's dual gauge pod. I was wondering what yall think I should get to put in the two spots? I was thinking water temp and oil pressure. Can I just tap into the sending units for both and buy electrical gauges instead of manual ones? I know where the oil pressure sending unit is at but where is the water temp on? Any other gauge that you think would be better to have? No reason for a tranny temp on a manual is there? Any input would be great.

Where is the best place to buy some gauges? I was thinking about getting white faced ones since my dash has the white face plate from an expo. I was thinking Autometer. Got any other good ones? I do not want digital.

i just used electrical and tapped into the sending units. only problem is then you have to rely on the sending units being good, which my oil pressure is not and have not gotten around to replacing the sending unit.

Well, I replaced the oil one this winter finally so it chould be good. When it would be below freezing out the needle would be off for a while then flicker back and forth.

So, where is the water temp sending unit at?

tried to look for pictures, but couldnt find any. Basically in about the middle front of the engine, its easiest to take your air intake off. there will be 2, and the one you need is the one in the front.

Probably go with DupliColor paint for the interior.

I have ProComp UltraLites in my car with AFR and another one...hehe...and I am happy.

Any autoparts store, Advanced/Autozone etc, should have the interior paint.
