took me a double glance to spot the oil pressure.

is that just the gauge going wacko, or do you really not have any oil pressure?

I'd say replace your oil sending unit sensor, but your "check gauges" light isn't on. I think your gauge itself could be f'ed.

As for the oil gauge. when i took my dash apart to replace the bulbs i blew it out with the air hose to clean it a little and the needles were spining around i thought i had them all back in the right place but a couple weeks later relized i didnt have any oil pressure. if you look closely you can see that the needle is below the pin so it spun around backwards. had to take it apart again and put it back in the right spot. good job

I took the dash apart untill it looked like this and shoved a peice of bailing wire into the hole in the bottom right corner and used it to push it around.

Here is the link to take the dash apart. You dont have to take the cluster out unless you are still having trouble.

i can't believe i missed this thread. about a year ago when my truck would idle @ red lights, the oil gauge would go nuts and smack back and forth against the pin, until finally it went under it. where it's been ever since.

no check engine, no codes, no problem...

Cool, thanks man. I'm not crazy about taking the dash apart again, but it better than not having a working guage.

Your "check gages" light isn't on?
