Im looking for an explorer center console for my 03 and hopefully i can get one thats black? if they make black..if anyone has one or can get one for me that would be amazing.

 

im looking for one too...best bet is to check ebay or your local junk yard...

with ebay I haven't found any that includes everything, like the pigtail, temp sensor, mounting brackets....

Im planning on hitting the junkyard hopefully this week

 

yea but i want the floor mount one..not the OHC..none of our junkyards around here have any because theres to new...its crap i know but its more then difficult to get one.

 

The best place to look is eBay... I just bought mine off there on friday night. I got mine for $117 shipped and in excellent condition. Good luck!

The actually are supposed to paint pretty easily with vinyl, interior paint. So I wouldn't let the color stop you.

 

hmm ok..ive been checking back regularly..i really like them and i could care less about the airbag thing on the dash..will a PS2 fit in the explorer center consol?

 

I got mine for free... It was a puke green color. I prepped it and sprayed it with krylon fusion black. had it for about a year now and the paint is still holdin up great!!!

Edit: DO NOT paint the armrest cover with paint!!!!!! It has some kind of chemical reaction and it never dries and is all sticky!!!!!!! Take it to an upholstry shop, they can dye it or you can have it recovered...
