Wet Jump Cavity

Felt my behind my jump seat as far forward where its near the driver door and its soaked. Its dark out so i cant see anything and it's going to be raining for a few more days. Has anyone heard or had this happen?

Might be the third brake light, sliding back window, or seal around back window. If you have a 4-door could be the seal on the half door too. I know mine would leak there when I went through a car wash.

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

Third brake light leaking? My screws work loose on my third brake light...too much vibration from 30k+ mile mud terrains. Have to keep tightening them up.

I dont want to sound like a jerk, but you probably have a leak somewhere.

There is a small rubber grommet thing below the jumpseat that is above a body bolt. Maybe the rubber thing is loose? It might leak if youve been driving over mud puddles or something, but I dont know.

Check your rear window for leaks. Just naming off a few things it might be.

Hope this helps.

do it the right way and do a water test

my leak was coming from the passenger side door seal parallel to the windshield
