I had the carpet out a week before I installed the console so I had an idea where to cut. Just don't cut too much. I did but luckily the console covered it up. What I did was cut a slot down the middle and a "T" at the ends and then looked under the carpet to see where the mounting spots were and slowly cut until the hole was big enough.
Thanks for the input. I got in the new seats and console and loved them until I took it on a test drive. The Air bag light was on
So I checked the code and it was a 46 so I replaced the drivers side seat belt pretensioner. I started up the vehicle and now I'm getting a code 47 the pass. side pretension has been activated too. So now I have to wait for the rain to leave so I can pull the truck out and swap the pass. side belt pretensioner out.
Do you have a 2 door? or 4 door truck? Mine is a 2 door. I think I'm going to have to see about putting some jump seats in the back now that I only have a 2 seater.
