Looks like everyone had fun! I can't wait for my meet in May!

Wow, so you still can't accept when you're wrong so you have to try and make other people look like the idiots. This isn't doing anything but making you look like a little immature kid for bringing this back up. So I congratulate you Mark, glad to know you turned 13 this year.

Again with the bashing. You just don't quit do you?! Get a life dude.

Tre, calm down. We had accepted your advice on heating coils up, no bashing intended, seriously. Now what do you think can be done with my leaf springs. I want to lower the rear of my 01 to level it out, since I don't want to crank torsion bars. Do you know what type of metal it is? How hot should I get the whole leaf spring? And should I unbolt the rear end before I do it? I just havent heard anything good about cranking torsion bars so I figure I'll just heat up the leafs and lower the back.. Let me know please..
I think we might also lower the front of Josh's truck more by either cutting the coils or heating them up.. whats your advice?

Tre, the meet was fun. There were alot more trucks supposed to show that didnt end up showing..that kidna sucked. Also, I didnt get to clean my 01 AT ALL so it was dirty compared to everyone else's clean pix. My 01 is SO getting washed/clayed/waxed here sometime very soon. I cant wait to have some summer meets everyone!!

BTW all my pix will be posted soon. I decided to try something other than photosucket and ImageShack is slow. I want SmugMug but it's like 40.00 bucks or something and I dont need to spend that kind of dough right now

So you want to lower the rear of the 01? take the stock block out. I've had cranked bars for 4 years now...and progressively cranked more and more over the past couple of years. My truck has 83k on the clock and needs lower ball joints. Yes cranking the bars aiding in wearing the lowers, but them again, these lowers were stock circa 2001, w/ 83k on them.....just crank them bars man. btw....don't heat leafs.

What's wrong with heating leafs? Isnt it the same as heating coils? And if i ditch the block I think it'll drop the rear too much. I want to ditch the block but i cant unless i get lift leafs, and if i get lift leafs then i have to lift the front :(

LMAO..u dont no what to do fred.... fred if u want to help maybe this weekend i'll get my front a lil lower i think if i throw cold water on the coils after i heat them it will be alright right.. no need to take them out of the truck i think.. let the weight of the truck sink her down and spray that water on?????????? that should stop the sinking.. do i get them red hot of just warm em up a little????? i dont no ne thing about metal work

Actually Fred what you should try to do is find a set of lift blocks from a 2wd Edge. They had a 2" block instead of the 4x4's 2.5". It might be enough to get it level.

what bashing? all I said was that your an expert in metallurgy and to consult you. We were just going to go by the advice you gave out we were actually discussing it at the meet.

Fred is I knew you wanted to lower the back more we could of taken your leafs out cooked them over the fire some and and then run some water on them in the creek and bolted them back on. Thats what I have learned from the heating process and making it safe.

actually hes the one that gets banned because he has a bad attitude and doesnt know how to control his anger.

And if you havent noticed, there several members poking fun at him and are not at all serious about what they are asking or going to do about the heating subject. Its sarcasm....
