yeah we def had a good time even though 3 of us toasted our alternators, also a side note unless you want to make friends with cops wash the mud off your plates after wheelin. The last couple times i have gone the same two cops have pulled me over to clean my plate off, and of coarse to ask how the hell oi get so muddy. lol

Nice pics! All trucks appropriately dirty, lol.
I always wipe my lights off too. Yesterdays run left my headlights and taillights completely covered. I don't think I did my plate though! That's a good idea.
I toasted an alternator also. After that I made a piece of thick rubber sheet that fastened to the frame and the fender liner that goes far enough forward to block mud thrown off the tires from hitting the alternator and I haven't lost one since.
I think it's real important especially if you have a body lift. I don't have one, and the mud still killed it that time. I don't want to lose the 200 amp unit I have to help power my winch so I make sure it's "shielded".

I will make it out this spring or summer I promise. What's your proposed date for the Jeanette, PA meet? I could start planning (and saving for gas, lol) for that.
I spent WAY more for gas for the Wharton meet than I had budgeted. Not used to keep in mind that sometimes we drive more. We did extra distance yesterday over what we normally do.
Is there some fun offroading over where you're going? I know absolutely nothing about your area.

haha awe why not man were pro haha. Well the reason behind us removing them was thats the main path into that spot and everytime we went in it would run against the truck...and we had enough of it to we yanked em out haha
