New to R-F, got a 95 ext. ranger

Hey all. Im a new member to R-F. Been reading through the forums and checkin out all your guy's rides. Must admit, their all pretty sweet.

just a little bit about me, I am a college student in Illinios. um, dont live at home, live at school until summer then in an aprtment. I love rangers, just need time and a few ideas. My major is film studies(at the moment) and minor is business.

Feel bad for lifted97ranger, that accidents gatta suck.

I actually just got in an accedent yesterday; rear ended a college buddy of mine. Pushed his bumber in and gave him a nice dent, as well as pushing my own in and angles it downward. Mangled my plate too. kinda bummed, but it wasnt that hard of a hit.

Anyway, hello to all, and i gatta admit, this is a sweet site. I look forward to figuring out some mods and ideas for my truck

I currently have a completely stock black with purple and white pin-stripes 95 ranger with ext. cab. 3.0 auto, Premium sound system (the stock one with the AUTO set button on it and sepparte amp for the speakers, sounds pretty good, but needs moding) I also have a fiberglass bed cover, sliding rear window, power everything. Also put neons under the drivers and passenger side dash.

Mods i wanna do:
- mild suspension lift kit; maybe like 4" with new leaf springs and the whole 9 yards
- mild body lift to add hieght
- 33" tires (must have white letters facing out) with 16-20" rims with black inside and silver/crome on the edge
- Completely new sound system with 2 12" subs
- new grill and head lights
- posibly smoked rear light covers to make truck more black

Actually if they make a grille for 95-97 rangers that looks like zabeard's with the ford emblum in the bottom corner that be sweet.
Also anyone know if they make some sort of conversion kit to turn the front enf of a 95-97 year ranger to something newer that be sweet.

Anyway, just sayin hey all, and that this sight ROCKS!!

The best way to make a 'conversion' is to find a guy/gal around there that can fabricate for you.. and raid the dump sites looking at newer wrecked rangers, rip things off, take em home.. and start priming/prepping each piece.. then take an evening to get it all put together.. might run you anywhere from 200-700 bucks give or take for a hood/fender set/bumper/grille off of a wrecker dump.

EDIT; Doh, almost forgot to say, WELCOME TO RF! Have a blast while your around!!
