new guy from PA

hey everyone I just joined

I got my ranger about 2 weeks ago and Im loving it.

I have a 94 RC STX 4X4 (performance red)
~163K
4.0 (needs driver side valve cover gasket)
5spd with a new clutch
new 31" Futura Scrambler A/P
3.27 rear w/o track lock (I WANT POSI!!)

the interior is in great shape with the driver's seat having one tear and the steering wheel being worn

I don't know what the STX package changed compared to other rangers but I know I have dual power seats with the driver's having power bolsters too and a hella jacked up ***! lol

if someone could link me to the changes btw models that would be cool

since I've gotten the truck I changed the ****TY stock audio to:
Kenwood Excelon x491 H/U (MP3/CD/IPOD/AUX)
4X konaki 5X7 3ways (650 watt peak 125 watt RMS)

I added a K&N filter to the stock airbox setup
did a fulll tune up and used a product like seafoam but WAYY better
my dad's a mechanic and owns his own shop he recomended the 2 part cleanser to me one can into the gas tank one through the intake
smoked a ton like seafoam and cleared up the hesitation from idle
with the tune up I put in all new auto light single platnium OEM plugs (#4 is a *****!!)

put on new low profile bugflector (not one in the pictures)
in track vent visors (black)

heres a like to some pix of my truck it has a long way to go but as I go ill be doing stuff to it

the first 9 pictures is before my 3 hour detail job
after that is what it came out as...night and day difference in shine

http://s25.photobucket.com/albums/c84/bill6639/ranger/

I used meguiars gold class wash
scratch X
Meguiars NXT 2.0 wax
windex and armorall cleaning wipes on the interior

this weekend ill be doing another detail job w/o scratch X
ill be using Nu-Finish (one of my favorite products) instead of the NXT wax for protection

thanks guys
later,

Bill
