Ok i have a few pics of what i want my hood to look like

this the main one





neighbors choice



I am also think in of maybe a fade type deal to but i dont know yet. If u guys have any other ideas let me know.

I agree...I'd go with a variation of the 1st one...leave the outside edges and the center dip yellow, and the rest black

so the top of the hood and the front of the hood in the same area are black and the outside and the center are yellow

I think that would look awesome

The first one, but with the outside edges left yellow, would be the only acceptible option.

the reason i was goin with the first one was to follow the lines of the grill cuz i plan on gettin light covers and painting the grill black.

i say, don't do any of those, unless you plan to continue that black/yellow paint scheme throughout the truck... if you do something to the roof, tailgate, bumper, valance, and doors... sure

but a hood like that, alone, will be too... i dunno... i don't think it would look that great...

Ok so how could i kepe the scheme throught the rest of the truck? and what about a fade from black to yellow?

why don't you do a zebra design, but instead of white and black, white and yellow.... jsut an idea and it would look badass

Paint the entire center of the hood, continue on the cab, then on the tailgate and have it fade out there. Like Christian said, the hood alone might not look too good.

I'd say do some black racing strips, and maybe the very center of the hood, but you gotta run it all the way to the back of the truck.

I saw a pretty cool looking car racing on TV today (it was a totally built up super car) I think it was a jaguar, but it had a cool green and grey strips on the front, and grey with green stripes on the back. It was pretty cool with a "transfer" section between both paint schemes that was in the shape of a jaguar. Something along those lines would be cool. If you're gonna do it, go big! :)

I agree with goin big thing thats y i was wantin the ideas for the hood and just a different paint scheme.

shaved doors, roll pan, new paint, lower, new mach1 17" rims there you go ENJOY!

i like the first idea alot IF you get a hood scoop. get a honda scoop or somthing like that and fabricate it to fit, then black with some yellow on it would be awsome!

They use mustang hood scoopes on Edges a lot. Fits in with the hod lines really well. Anyways I like Q's second variation with the two tone, black on top. That looks killer. As for the hood options... I'm honestly not a fan of them. I would just suggest a BOSS style like Oldfart and Yellowedge have, but maybe have it fade to yellow toward the back of the hood to make it be a little different then both of theres. Just an idea...

i think you should just keep it as is and do performace mods before doing all the painting.. do that last
